The oldest tree in the lands stands in a clearing in the basin of the West Sea Ridge. It is a meeting place for the White Oak Pack and where the hierarchy make their dens.

A hill covered in Oaks, widely spaced and ideal for hunting elk and other deer. Currently owned by the White Oak Pack.

Ridges of land formed by the sea that have now been covered in coarse grass and tough bushes.

A depression of land almost encircled by a ridge of land. A wide open space with spaces at its edges for wolf dens and trees to hide in.

Branching creeks that form in the rise of the North Circle ridge. Their pattern is much like the tines of deer antlers.

Open space covered in heather and other coarse ground plants. Many small rodents and deer to hunt.

A wider heather-filled meadow, teeming with deer both early morning and late evening. The southern edge opens up into short grass where bison sometimes wander.

A sharply rising hill with beech trees growing thickly on its slopes. Elk tend to graze here when the leaves are out in summer.

A depression in the ground where a sky rock is said to have landed. The clearing in the beech trees is lined with rocks, a perfect gathering place for wolf packs.

A high stretch of land scattered with elm trees and short grass. Popular with squirrels and large deer.

An even higher plain scattered with elms, rocky terrain starting near its eastern side. It looks up into the great mountain ranges of the Oaken Territories.

A wide, sometimes boggy stretch of grass. Many bison, deer, rabbits and other prey animals graze here. The plains look out onto the estuary of the Mother Oak River to the West seas.

Lush long grass, favoured by the bison and the occasional horse or elk that border the Tine River

A steep hill of pine trees, fading to short heather as the hill flattens into Heather Meadow. Makes a good lookout for the Northern Plains.

Combined with Tine River and the North Grazing Plains, the North-East Plains finishes the stretch of the North Plains. Long grass is favoured by the larger deer and the occasional horse herd

A bubbling spring of chilled, clear water that comes from the depths of the Elm Plains rising hill. The water trickles in a clear stream to join the Mother Oak River. The spring is surrounded by Elm trees and the broad leaves dangle in the clear water. Fish are common in the stream and the water is fresh all year round.

Crashing waterfalls that come from the Canopy Plains and fall dramatically down to the Eastern Plains. The water sprays at angles as it hits the rocks on the way down the cliffs and deep pools of water form at the bottom of the falls.

A wide stretch of short grass where bison and the occasional deer graze.

A smaller stretch of grass that continues south from the Greater Eastern Plains, also a favourite of the bison herds and ideal for hunting.

Short, stiff grass, usually occupied by bison and other large grazing animals. The wind is strong up here and scents are carried easily if the wind direction is correct.

Short, stiff grass graduating to tussocks of mountain grass between rocks and ridges. Ibex and mountain goats graze among the rocks as well as smaller mountain rodents. The rocks get steeper to the south as it leads up to the Great Acorn Mountain.

Tall cliffs falling directly into the sea. Many sea birds and small rodents live on or above the cliff. There is short grass growing on the top but no larger prey animals come here. The cliff gives good views of the North and South Plains.

A thinner stretch of grass, continuing east from the Greater Southern Plains. The grass curves with the tributary to the Mother Oak – the Acorn River. Oak trees are dotted about on the lower end of the meadow, giving a sheltered place for youngsters to practice hunting on the rabbits that live among the tree roots.

A low hill, covered in nothing but a few scattered oaks, grass and rocks. The rocks give a fun place for pups to play on and the oaks give shade for the adults to lie in.

A lower hill of oaks and mixed pines sloping down with low cliffs to its western side.

Unclaimable caves that go deep into the ground. Some explorers say that there is a passage to the cave at the beginning of the Acorn creeks but it takes days to get there...

A continuation of the Acorn Lake, another tributary adding to the wide waters. A small river leads off to the east from the lakes edge, feeding into the Acorn River to the east.

A wide, soft sloping hill that has only a few oaks dotted about. It overlooks the Acorn Lake to the west and the Acorn River to the east.

The wider, winding Acorn River. The river leads onwards to the Mother Oak River. The banks of the Acorn River are popular with smaller prey animals like rabbits and hares. The water is fresh and flowing for most of the year.

The west facing side of the Great Acorn Mountain. The sheer rock does not give much cover but Bighorn Sheep graze on the tussocks of tough mountain grass as well as the ibex and mountain goats. Other mountain animals graze on the occasional flats of mountain grass and the mountain offers good views of the Oaken Territories.

The rock is less steep here with more bighorn sheep than ibex. The smaller mammals are more plentiful and the rocks are easier to climb. The top of the mountain tends to be peaks with snow most of the year round.

There are some trees growing on this side of the mountain and it is more sheltered from winds. Small mammals tend to be common here among the rocks. Small bubbling creeks start to form, running quickly down the mountain and gaining size nearing the bottom. These are the beginnings of the Acorn Creeks.

Dense beech trees, the ground below it irregular and never flat. A good place to hide for it is in shadow most of the time.

A thin winding creek in the depths of the Beech Forests. Many small fish swim in it and the water is always fresh. Deer appear at its edges to drink occasionally and it is a relaxing place to rest.

A beach made of shingle from the cliffs and no sand in sight. Many things wash up on the beach, some things that were never alive in the first place and some things that are edible for scavenging wolves.

A wide meadow covered in long grass and in summer, blooming flowers give the meadow beautiful colours. Deer and rabbits graze here a lot.

A wide ridge of evergreens, spreading from the sea front to the lake side where it dips to meet the water. Elk can be found here as well as other forest dwelling prey.

More evergreen forests but with more undergrowth, bracken and other shrubs. Easy to hide in but harder to find prey in. Fawns and other young deer are often left here while their parents graze.
